Watch doesn't see credit card in apple pay

i have followed all documented procedures to add a credit card to Apple pay on iPhone 6. Passbook on iPhone shows card, card is registered. Everything about Apple pay seems to work fine on phone.

Apple watch doesn't see credit card. Other things in passbook (Starbucks) make it to watch. Not credit card.

REbooted watch and phone. No luck. Any ideas?
