May 25, 2015 7:41 PM in response to tylert120by TheTufGuy,I got mine to work. My phone was NOT on wifi. It was on LTE. I power cycled both my phone and the watch, connected to wifi on my phone, and then retried the update. It still took about 20 mins but it worked. Hope this works for some of you. ***And by the way, shouldn't I have the choice to update over LTE if I prefer? Apple must have had to make that a deal with the wireless companies so that updates wouldn't overtax their system.

May 26, 2015 3:17 PM in response to TheTufGuyby deggie,You can download the update to your iPhone using LTE. But to move the update from your iPhone to your Watch you have to use WiFi as the Watch as not LTE radio.

Sep 22, 2015 4:47 AM in response to srparker0by Jonathan UK,- Check that your iPhone is updated to iOS 9.
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi (and preferably also to power).
- Keep your iPhone next to your Apple Watch to make sure they're in range.
- Connect your Apple Watch to power, and keep it on the charger until the update is complete.
- Ensure that your Apple Watch has at least a 50 percent charge before starting.
- Closing all other open apps on your iPhone may help (double-press Home button, swipe up on app previews to close).
- Restarting your Apple Watch and iPhone beforehand may also help.
To download and install the update: on your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and tap My Watch > General > Software Update - follow the instructions.
