How do I put together multiple pictures to create a panorama?

How would I splice 2 to 6 pictures together to create a wide panorama?

You'll need a 3rd party image editor. Also you can do it in Pages.

Some Image Editors That Support layers:

Photoshop Elements 11 for Mac - $79

GraphicConverter - $40

Pixelmator - $60

GIMP for Mac - Free

Rainbow Painter - $30
Imagerie - $38
Acorn - $50

Seashore - Free

I'm familiar with the first 4 in the list and any of those would do the job.

Photoshop Elements has feature for stitching together photos for panoramas: Photoshop Elements Help | Stitching together panoramas.

If you have a Canon camera there is an application, PhotoStitch, that came with it on the disk. It works very well and will work with 10.10.3.

Lastly if you go to MacUpDate.com and search for "panorama" you'll get a list of many potential candidates to do the same job.
