Served website always uses SSL / https

New to Server.app. I need to serve websites only on my LAN for development. Added sym links to the Default directory for 80 or so websites under development. Everything works OK except when viewing the websites with a browser at mymac.local/subsite/ web browsers always use SSL / https. This causes problems (security certificate errors preventing some sites working). If I explicitly link to http://mymac.local the http is changed to https. Any way to avoid this?

OK, great timing. Answered my own question. There's a redirect configured by default to the SSL URL. Got rid of it, problem solved. Now why was that there?
