Upload to youtube problem

I have just finished a video, I then followed the instructions to upload it to youtube. This failed. I then logged into youtube directly and tried to upload from my account. It told me the format was not compatible with youtube. How can the program let me put together a project and not convert it to an appropriate file type to this?

How can I rectify the problem? How to I alter the file type or how do I start making a project as an appropriate file type?!

Hey Ninjatrombone,

You should be able to export the video out as a QuickTime File. Take a look at the link below to walk you through that option and then you should be able to upload to YouTube. Take a look at the articles below for more details on uploading to either YouTube or exporting to a file that to your Mac.
