I recently transferred my photos from my MacBook Pro onto my iPhone 5s and then I reset my MacBook. Now when I plug my iPhone in only some of my photos transferred. I can not figure out how to get the rest of my photos onto my laptop and I can't delete them from my iPhone.

The iPhone is not a storage device.
The photo sync is one way - computer to iPhone.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
So you are telling me that there is no way to get my photos form my phone to my laptop? And I can't delete them from my phone...
When you sync to a new computer, then they will be erased.
The iPhone simply mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced.
It does not behave as a storage device.
You could e-mail yourself the pics, but they will not be of the original quality.
Copy everything from the old computer or your backup copy of the old computer to your new one.
