Trackpad unresponsive when wake up from sleeping mode

Dear,

My Macbook Air is randomly getting unresponsive after wake up from sleeping mode. Very often when a live safari open and my Mac get into sleeping mode, when waking up it, the trackpad gets unresponsive. The keyboard continues working normally and I'm able to type my password and login, but the trackpad remains completely unresponsive. To make it working again, I need to shut down the Mac and restart it without the power supply, because when I restart it with the power supply connected it doesn't work as well.

During years I'm looking for a solution without success. Does someone knows something about it.?

Reset PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

Reset SMC. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

Choose the method for:

"Resetting SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own".

Start up in Safe Mode. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1564

Thank you so much for your feedback. I've done the actions you indicate and now I'm going to monitore the result for the next 15 days, as it's a kind of randomly problem. As soon I conclude it, I'll post the feedback to you. Once more thank you and have a nice weekend.

Hi Dominic23,

Unfortunately it didn't work. My Macbook got 3 times unresponsive in the last hours. it's really annoying.

Have you another idea.?
