Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. If that does not work, then check the other responses on this support document and go from there. If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
Do a reset:
I TRIED, IT DOESNT WORK
The Caps Lock is not necessary, and is considered rude. If the reset does not work, then follow the steps in the support document I provided after a reset.
Put your CAPSLOCK off (stop shouting).
Try these as well:
Restore from backup
Restore as new
Capslock was not intentional. Sorry if that might had hurt you. I tried to follow the steps in the support document but won't help. I can see the screen working, the home key, lock/unlock key and even the biometrics of the home button works perfectly, but the touch screen does't respond.
See this section of the support document is what I said.
If your touchscreen still doesn't respond like it should, contact Apple Support or take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. Are you saying that you have already contacted Apple Support or an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service provider?
No, this happened today evening so I couldn't take it to the store. I have made an appointment for tomorrow thanks for the info though.
You're welcome. The steps you were provided are all of the user troubleshooting steps, and if they don't work, then Apple is your only alternative.
