iOS 8.3 and broken DNS-SD when on cellular

Hi,

In working with a customer recently we noticed that DNS-SD resolution appears to be disabled completely when on a cellular connection. This breaks DNS-SD from working through a VPN, which blocks automatic discovery of Bonjour services through a VPN tunnel. This all worked perfectly in previous iOS versions and is relied upon heavily by all sorts of businesses.

Has anyone figured out a way to re-enable this?
