May 21, 2015 11:08 PM in response to Daringdilby Terence Devlin,Yes, if you're sure that you won't use it again. Folks recommend against it until your sure that you'll be using Photos going forward. Remember the new app doesn't have some key features from iPhoto.

And deleting it will save very little space as Photos saves disk space by sharing images with your iPhoto or Aperture libraries - Apple Support
