It's a really bad idea to post your email address and phone number - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them. This is a user to user forum - you are not talking to Apple here and no-one is going to contact you.
If you contact an Apple Store you may be able to get a trade-in discount against the price of a new iPad, but the amount may be less than you could get by selling it privately and putting the proceeds towards a new one.
Another solution is to buy a cellular data device which can create a WiFi hotspot to attach your iPad 3 to.
