I've had my gmail account on my phone for a while. Today it was asking for my password to access email but screen wouldn't advance to let me add the password. I shut off phone and turned on again, same problem. So I deleted the gmail account, shut down the phone and I'm trying to add gmail account back on phone and it won't advance to allow me to add back to phone. It times out, over and over again. Please HELP!

Have you tried resettings the your device? This won't delete your data stored on the phone.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

After you reset your phone, try setting up your account once again.
