The action “Move Finder Items” encountered an error.

I have made an automator workflow to move files by kind from downloads to specific folders on an external HDD but when I hit run i get this message appear "The action “Move Finder Items” encountered an error." Why is this and how can I fix it?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), 8gb ram
