I found a way to get on iTunes homesharing, after wondering about it for a few days, and then my sister shut her computer down, and now the homesharing house won't pop up.

Have you tried:

Unless another computer is on and Home Sharing turned on and connected to same network there is no Home Sharing.
Yes. I didn't really explain that.
She tried to turn hers on again, and the house didn't pop up this time.
