Why can i not see all of the music on my iphone through itunes?

I am trying to erase songs i no longer listen to from my iPhone 4s (software updated to ios 8.3), however i cannot see all of the songs that are on my iPhone (680+) through iTunes. According to iTunes i only have around 650 songs on my iPhone? I have attached a screen shot of my iTunes page, in the 'on this iPhone > music' tab.

If anyone else has had this problem or knows how i can see all of the songs to delete them please do let me know! All of the songs on my phone are also in my iTunes library so i am baffled.
