My iMac restarts itself after I shut it down

When I shut down my iMac which is running Yosemite 10.10.3 it starts up by itself. Anyone have this problem or am I not shutting it down correctly?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Try resetting the SMC and PRAM and post back with the results. iMac SMC and PRAM reset
