Q: How do I save photos that are emailed to me into Photos?

right click on a photo and select import tot Photos

Control-click on the photo in the email & select "Export to Photos" from the popup menu. But note that while this works well with Apple's Mail app, it may not work with other email client apps.

No. Like I said, you can select multiple photos in the usual ways (with shift or command) to highlight them all, & then control or right click on any one of them to import them all.
