Why can't I charge my old iPod on my new iMac
I would like to charge my old iPod but my new iMac will not accept it. What can I do?
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), old iPod needs to be charged
Connect the iPod directly to the iMac USB port and not via an USB-hub.
or
Charge the iPod with an Apple AC-adapter to the Outlet.
Use also the original Apple USB cable.
