I went to genius bar for problems with my macbook pro-deleted iPhoto

I went to the genius bar for problems with my mac, they cleaned it and wiped everything off, and now all my photos are gone including iPhoto, it says i cannot download iPhoto in the us.

any help is appreciated.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Bring ti back and the them you want this material returned.

You cannot download iPhoto on 10.6, you need 10.10.3 minimum.

Didn't you make a backup of ] your MBP before taking it into the Genius bar?
