Location services not working in apps

Hi

My husband and I both have iPad 4, wifi only. They've always worked perfectly regarding location services.

Since two days ago all of our apps which use location services have stopped working. Google maps, Apple maps, BBC weather etc. If I search for weather in chrome or safari it comes up with our location it's only the apps that don't work.

I've tried resetting location services, done several hard resets, reset all settings and nothing is fixing the issue. Any suggestions as these apps used to work perfectly.
