Can the RAM/Hard Drive in a 2010 13inch Macbook Pro be upgraded?

If so, how can I tell what the max amount of RAM it can be bumped up to. Also, what type of RAM?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

The maximum RAM for a 2010 13" MBP is 16 GB. If you want to install that much, purchase it from OWC since they have made that determination with the RAM they sell:

If you want to install 8 GB RAM OWC and Crucial are your best option


The RAM specifications for your MBP are: 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM


In regards to storage, any 2.5" dia. SATA HDD or SSD will be compatible. Currently the maximum capacity for HDD's is 2 TB and for SSD's it is 1 TB.
