Call History showing up on another iPhone

Hi,

Hopefully you can help.

I use my phone for business and we have noticed in the last few days that all of the calls I make and receive are appearing in my wife's iPhone recent call history?

I have hunted high and low in settings on both phones but with no joy.

It is only affecting calls i make, not the other way round? so i am not seeing calls my wife makes on her phone in my recent call history?

It is also not affecting text messages...

We are both using the same iCloud account but the inconsistencies above suggest its something more involved (or very simple!)

The slightly odd thing is that it only seems to do it when my phone is at home, i went out this afternoon and the calls made/received have not appeared on her history. so maybe its a wifi thing?...but...

I also phoned vodafone when i got home to see if they could help (they couldn't!) and that short dial number is also not appearing on her history?

Yes me is two separate people with different names, numbers and emails. Why would I create a separate accounts when we have had iPhones for 5 years with no problems before? This thread is on page 126 on my phone, that has been mentioned ad nauseum. I want the phones to work like they have the last 5 years.

Not difficult at all. I have perfectly explained before why I share my id in several devices.

I have also explained that the iOS has a menu point where the user can choose whether the call list is shared or not between devices within the SAME APPLE ID but problem is that calls continue to be shared regardless the setting chosen. This is clearly a BUG in the iOS and I'm pretty sure will be corrected as were other BUGS never acknowledged by Apple.

This concept is a little bit more difficult than yours but I'm sure you can do your best to understand it.

Cheers

Calls on other devices is part of 'continuity / handoff'. It allows you to answer calls on any Mac or iOS device signed in with the same iCloud account. For example, if you call me, I can answer the call using my Mac, or iPad instead of picking up my phone. I can also place calls from my Mac via the cellular service on my phone if I like. It comes in handy, especially when I'm working and would prefer to have the call on speaker anyway.

This is utter BS Apple. You have no idea the agony this glitch has caused me. I gave my old IPhone 5 to my daughter. She is currently visiting her father in NY and I'm in Dubai. We are divorced and are not on speaking terms AT ALL!! All of a sudden I see a plethora of calls from "Baby Daddy" (that's how my daughter saved him on my new phone-don't ask). Not only did I receive calls from him, I CALLED HIM MYSELF and according to the phone records, FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I start freaking out. "Am I sleep calling?" "Is someone playing an evil trick on me?" "Has someone tapped into my phone and is fiddling with my call records?" I do a Google search and find this forum. Nothing sounds familiar except two phones sharing call history. We don't share APPLE ID, she has her own, BUT SHE IS USING MY OLD PHONE. I take a screenshot of my call history and send it to her to confirm if she indeed made these calls to her father. I ask her to send me a screenshot of her calls. Sure enough, calls I made here in Dubai were on her phone and calls she made in NY were on my phone ALL THE WAY HERE IN DUBAI!!!! This is totally unacceptable. I was about to call him and see if he was playing games. THIS MUST BE FIXED!!!! This caused me sleepless nights trying to figure it out. Charging so much for your products, I'm sure you could find some spare change to fix this glitch!!!!
