Q: My recent calls appearing on another iPhone!?

Don't share an iCloud account. They are not intended to be shared.

I'm getting the same thing.  My wife's call log is appearing on my iphone and on an old iphone 4S we have that is signed into icloud.  I have asked my wife to reboot her phone to see if it clears things up. 

FYI we share icloud because it allows us to have a synchronized calendar, "find my iphone" and contacts under the same account.  But this **** is weird.  If I find anything, I'll share it here.

Happened to me today as well, came looking to see if it was a one-off or something else. I'd say there is some shenanigans in the cloud. I had calls appear from Oct 2014 -- six months ago. Really?

I'm facing the same issue since the last couple of days. I've never faced this problem before. iCloud should not be syncing recent calls amongst iPhones in the same iCloud account. Any solution?

It is not weird. It is working as it is meant to. iDevices that share the same Apple/iCloud ID will have content synched amongst the devices, and will "ring" once a call is received if the Handoff/Continuity feature is enabled and therefore you will see calls on the log of both phones. Handoff will only work if the two devices are on the same Wifi network.

If you want to "synch" calendars, share a calendar only or use the Family share feature:

Here's the thing, this has been happening all week regardless of the fact that I wasn't on wifi during my drive home from work, and my wife (and her iphone) are on the other side of the country, so we haven't been on the same wifi network since Sunday.

Use family share and see if that solves the problem. In any case, you should not both be using the same Apple ID/iCloud account.

I Am also experiencing this with two iPhones sharing an iCloud account.  The strange part as others have stated is that it just started last week.  I have disabled handoff, made sure face time is set to receive only with the phone number assigned to the individual iphone and examined every other setting.  I and I think others are wondering why this started happening suddenly out of the blue.  If someone with Apple could shed some insite that would be helpful.  And yes I get it, don't share an iCloud account.

I noticed this yesterday for the first time.  I have two phones and the only thing shared is contact list. The copied recent call list only seem to go one way.

Same thing is happening with me and my daughters iPhone 4s. Our calls are randomly showing up in each others recent list. Its also happening when we are nowhere near each other but not happening all the time either. I share the ID with all 4 of my kids and its only happening on one phone. Very weird how it just started a few days ago.

Any thought to what version IOS each iPhone is running?  My wife's iPhone (the one from which we're all get her call log) is the only device not updated to version 8.3.  I have asked her to update her iPhone to see if it clears this up.  I'm waiting for her to do it, and will let you know if this changes everything.

What versions is everyone else here on?
