Q: there are photos in my iphone i can't delete. no trash icon
I have an iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3 and use Windows 7 in my PC.
There are albums and photos in my iPhone I can't delete. The albums are a very old version of what I used to have. I still have the photos but in diferent folders. I read in another thread that I have to make a new sync and uncheck the folders I don't want synced, The issue here is that all I have in my PC folder is correctly shown in my photos app on the iPhone, but I still have the photos and albums from the old "version" and these are the ones I can't delete.
What to do?
Windows 7

See the following quote from Sync photos to your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in iTunes - Apple Support
If the delete all method in step 3 doesn't do it, you may need to do the method in the link after step 4 below. Note that either will remove all of the synced photos on your phone but that once it has done that you can then sync again selecting just the folders that you want on the phone.
Delete synced photos
- In iTunes, locate and click on your device.
- Click Photos.
- Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."- Click Apply.
