My iMac has this Ethernet card (Gigabit), but It limits speed at 100BaseTX.
Anyone knows why it stops at this limitation (in user friendly words)?

But I did'nt buy this card. It came already factory installed in my iMac.
Unless you get an answer here from other users, I'd suggest checking with Apple - they should know how/why it was designed this way.
