Can't share photo from Photos with Outlook for Mac 20121

I'm trying to share with Outlook for Mac 2011 a single photo from Photo. When I click the share icon, Outlook is not shown; when I click "more" outlook is shown with a check but it does not function when I click it. The Export workaround *****. Is Apple going to fix this, or is it just another standoff with Microsoft?
