Birthdays appear on screen using iCalendar but will not print. How do I correct this?

I have had that box checked for years, but all of a sudden it does not print the birthdays. Is there a problem syncing with contacts? How do I fix that?
That was a dumb question since the birthdays do show up on the screen.
I noticed that the birthday selection that shows up on the screen is the gmail birthday (brown box), not the other birthday box which is gray. How do I get the gray box to show up on the print menu?
Even though it's checked in the Calendar to show, when I choose print, the box for Birthday Calendar in the print menu is unchecked and I have to check it to print. You should also have the All Day Event checked.
You marked it solved, but seems you still have questions. Is it not working for you? There is no sync problem.
Scroll through the list to see the Contact Birthday calendar. You must have the Birthday Calendar enabled in Calendar preferences to show. The Birthday Calendar is not the same as the google birthday calendar.
I don't use a gmail calendar, so I don't know about those. I'm sure you can select it in the list in the print menu.
Contact Birthday Calendar does not appear on the list calendar, but toward the bottom of the list labeled "other" US holidays and birthday calendar (gray box) are checked. I assume this is the contact birthday list. Gmail birthday list is at the top. I do not use it but it does appear. Birthday calendar is and has alwaysvbeen enabled in Calendar preferences. Holidays print but birthdays do not.
I just found it! I was scrolling down the list on the calendar, not the print menu. My apologies--it was there but hidden from view at the bottom of the list. Thank you.
