My 5S phone (3.6GB available) with 8.3 version. I updated music and playlists but can't replace my old music on iPhone

I have new music and playlist and want to replace the current music and playlist on my 5S phone (3.6 GB available); 8.3 version. Do I need to delete the current music from my iPhone first?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3

Only if you're using a totally different computer than the one that put the music on their. An iOS device can only be synced to one computer at a time.
