Combine multiple iPhoto libraries into new Photos app?

Have 5 separate iPhoto libraries - accumulated over 10 years, with nearly 10,000 images.

When OX 10.10.3 replaced iPhoto with "Photos", it only converted the most-recently used iPhoto library (years 2014-2015).

Old iPhoto libraries are still accessible. What is the safest way to add the remaining 4 libraries into the new (local) "System Photo Library" ?

I prefer not to use the iCloud Photo Library, because I do not need all 10,000 images to be "available" on all my devices - just the last 2-4 years.

Therefore, I prefer just to use iCloud Sharing, for selected sets of images.

Is this possible, with current applications?

That is not currently a feature of Photos - tell Apple your desired - https://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html

You can useiPhoto Library Manager or Aperture to merge them prior to migrating to Photos
