I'm trying to rent a movie using Apple TV but can't figure out how. The Apple "help" says to access iTunes but I don't see that in the Apple TV menu.

Enter your iTunes Store info and password in the Settings. Thereafter, just use the Movies icon to select what you want.
I figured it out! I was only seeing movies available for purchase, not for rent. It turns out I was selecting movies that were not available to rent. I needed to keep selecting movies to find those that had a 'for rent' option.
