can't get rid of videos after my daughter synced ipad on shared computer

My 14 year old was using her iPad for a school project and needed to play a video from the teacher's computer. Right before she plugged in, another student had apparently also plugged her iPad or phone in.

Somehow the previous girls' videos are now synced onto my daughter's iPad. There is no trash icon to get rid of them, because they belong to the other girl. I don't want them on my kid's device, number 1 they take up a lot of room and number 2 they aren't really appropriate.

Anything I can do, short of resetting the entire iPad and getting rid of ALL the content (my daughter's included)?

There is no trash can in the videos app. There is an Edit button in the upper right corner. Tap that an an X will appear in the upper left corner of the movie icons. Tap the X to delete the videos.

The edit button is there, but the trash can is grayed out. There is no X on the corner of the videos either.

Sounds as if they were synced from the teacher's computer. It may be that she will need to connect to that computer again to remove them, such as any other synced content.
