the 14-day return policy.

hi.

i just passed the 14-day return/exchange policy the apple stores offer. i'm posting this b/c my macbook has not been able to turn on now for 1 week.! :O i was not able to make it to an apple store in time to exchange/repair...therefore the policy "expired".

anyways, i've heard somewhere that an apple store exchanged...for free....a person's laptop after 30 days! : )

so if i were to go to the store, may they do the same??

thank-
paul

As I stated before, if your macbook is beyond repair after they examine and checked it, they might give you a new one instead of wasting their and your time to repair it.

But most of the time they will try to repair it first or give deep examination that might took a day or two.

Best thing to answers your question is to call and visit the apple store yourself, for we are not working at apple store and we are not the decision maker or know tha real apple policy on that store.

Good Luck.
