why can't i find bootcamp assistant

So, i installed windows on my computer, but now i want to uninstall it. However, given the fact that in order to do this, you need bootcamp assistant, i've run into a problem. When i installed windows, my bootcamp assistant disappeared. Can someone please tell me why?
