My macbook now has iPhoto and photo on it. A few questions..

Do I still need iPhoto?

How do I know whats backed up on iCloud?

If I delete a photo off my iPhone, will it get deleted off the cloud?

Thanks

No - but you might want it I would not delete it yet

That is easy - nothing from your Mac is backed up to iCloud - it is not a backup service, it is a sharing service

If you enable iCloud Photo Library your library is uploaded to iCloud and accessible fro there

If I delete a photo off my iPhone, will it get deleted off the cloud?

Maybe

If you are using PhotoStream then yew

If you are using iCloud Photo Library then yes

Otherwise no

You ask a questioned to which there is no clear answer because you did not provide adequate detail - so the answer was maybe with the three different possibilities depending on the details that you did not supply

It actually seems really clear to me

what ever

Most people understand simple condition statements - if this then that

Until you provide the full and correct details no one can do other than give you conditional answers

How ling will it take me to get to grandMa's house? Depends on the route you take and the speed you drive - no one can answer without that iformation

Same here - without details no single, clear answer can be given
