how do i delete music from my iTunes that doesn't respond to the left swipe delete?

In the beginning, I was attempting to delete all the music from my iPhone. Which through iTunes I was some what successful.

There are 23 songs that still appear and play on my phone that you cannot left swipe delete.

I also changed the name of the iTunes folder so that iTunes had no previous library to sync just like a new phone.

And when asked to sync it had a warning stating that there was no music in the iTunes library folder and any music on the device would

be deleted...I thought that is exactly what I'm looking to do.

Well it didn't work either...

I shouldn't have to restore my phone to the beginning of time just to remove music off of it...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
