May 23, 2015 3:47 PM in response to Eric Rootby Cutter6666,Yes, but it is a total pain to import to Photos and then have to maneuver them into Lightroom and re-file on my hard drive in the place where I keep my photo files. And Photos seems to hiccup a lot over Raw formats, which is what I normally shoot. I hardly ever used iPhoto and I don't really like the Photos editing, it just isn't flexible and doesn't do nearly as much.
Maybe I'm just too picky!
Thanks for replying!

May 27, 2015 8:10 AM in response to Eric Rootby Cutter6666,Well, OK, I put an SD card in last evening, figuring I'd just drag the images onto a desktop folder. Before I could, Image Capture opened just like old times and worked fine. Just to be sure, I tried it with a couple other cards with images and it worked like a charm.
So maybe it just had to sulk for a few days!

Nov 9, 2015 3:27 PM in response to Cutter6666by dwight139,I unplugged the other USB plugs in the back of my iMac except the one the iPhone was connected to. Before I finished, the photos were dowloaded to Photos.
