Q: Icloud

I have an 64gb iPad and a 16gb iPhone and I have 20gb of iCloud set up aand I want to know how do I set it up so that I can take all the photos on my iPhone and have them automatically sent to my iPad so I can store them there?

    You can do it in two different ways, but neither one will really be working for your intent.

    Photostream will move them to ipad, but they are not going to be full resolution photos and they will also have to stay in photostream on the phone.

    Icloud library beta will also move them to ipad, but when you delete them on iphone - that is the space that you really want - they also will be removed from icloud and from ipad. You can try to use icloud beta and optimize on the phone and not optimize on ipad. That will allow to have full resolution on ipad and smaller on the phone, but it will still take up some space.

All of your original, full-resolution photos and videos are stored in iCloud while device-size versions are kept on your device. You can download the original photos and videos over Wi-Fi or cellular when you need them.

    Bigger = ipad

    If you turn on Download Originals, iCloud Photo Library will keep your original, full-resolution photos and videos in iCloud and on your device. Download Originals is the default setting for iOS devices with the free 5 GB storage plan and for all Mac devices.
