Is an iPhone charging case safe?

I am planning to buy a charging case for my iPhone 6 but I am not sure if it is safe for my phone.

I don't want to waste money on something that is going to damage my iPhone so is it safe to use without damaging your iPhone?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

I'm sure there are many types and models, I'm sure if they were all damaging the devices they were used with they would all go out of business, you should likely be a bit more specific,

but anyway there is no general reason as to all charging cases build damaging devices
