Why RED blotches when viewed in Split View or Viewer?

Fortunately these disfigurements are absent when Browser mode or when exported.

Any idea why and/or how to prevent? TIA

Do you have Highlight Hot and Cold Areas enabled?

Turn them off with ⌥⇧H or from the "View" Menu > Highlight Hot and Cold Areas.

I tried to select "This solved my problem" but MBP is being finicky today.

And the "Solved" button also worked. Thanks! Sometimes we can only see the effects of the buttons after reloading the pages.
