cannot restore iphone6 error 9 18 avast mac security disabled!

Switched of my iphone6 . tried to start up then got alternating blue screen and apple icon. Then connected iphone to my mac. Itunes indicates "restore" which i did. Quick flash on iphone screen and beginning of white progress bar. then process stops, screen freezes (picture of cable and itunes icon. Been searching all over internet, could sofar not find a solution.

Have disabled avast security an restarted my mac. PLEASE HELP!
