iCloud password problem

Every time I reboot the computer this comes up

I put in the password,it appears to accept it, the window closes for a few seconds and then reopens asking for the password again. the only way to get it to stop is to close the pref window before this one comes back, so really i don't know if has taken hold or not...Any ideas...
