iPhoto showed up, iLife still missing.

What is the problem? Did you recently upgrade to Yosemite?

The iLife applications are not part of Yosemite. If you previously had iLife installed, use your old installers to reinstall, the iLife installation DVD or the System Install DVDs with the bundled applications.

Or restore from the last Time Machine backup you made before the upgrade.
