I am recording vocals and would like to create takes, rather than just record over previous attempts. I have clicked on the cycle button and defined the cycle range (which at the moment is the whole song), but it just makes a new recording ("natural vocal #16"). I've probably just forgotten something simple - would be grateful for any help!

I don't get it. What happens if you record on that third track? A take folder should be made automatically when a second recording is done.
Also, on a sidenote: lower your input levels; ideally, the highest peaks should not go over -6 dBFS. Those vocals look clipped to me.
I had the same problem with tracks 2 and 3 (I created no. 3 to see if it behaved differently). I just tried out creating takes on a new project and it worked fine - don't know what it's all about...
And yes, thanks for the tip - the vocals are too loud! :-)
