can the genius transfer files from my broken macbook pro to a new one?

So I recently spilled something on my MacBook Pro. I took it to the genuis bar and they told me that everything inside my Macbook pro is fine, except for the part that connects the keyboard to the hard drive. But they said the motherboard is fine. They told me to fix it, it would be a $750 flat rate plus tax which would make it around $800. For that much money I'd rather just get a new one and have a guarantee that future problems won't persist. My question is, is there a way that the Genius Bar can transfer my files from the old hard drive to the new one?
