Only since my last IPOD 4.1 Sync to my MAC OS X 10.6.8 has it stayed connected. When I go into Itunes under Devices it lists my IPOD 4.1. It never did that before. It only showed up there when it was plugged in with a USB cord to itunes. Can someone help me figure this out? Thank you.

Hi Chris, usually when my Ipod battery dies I connect it to my computer MAC OS X 10.6.8 and it updates, once that's done and I uplug it from the cable I no longer see IPOD under Devices on the left side in my Itunes. I don't know what caused this to happen but now it's not connected and it still stays on. I even took out the USB cable.
Connect the iPod.
Select it in iTunes.
Click the Summary tab.
See if Sync this iPod over Wi-Fi is checked.
On my Itunes Version 11.4 my old Ipod is listed under devices
