Not receiving email on iPad

I am no longer able to receive email on my iPad. It just quit. This is not a PW issue, I re-entered that information. I also deleted the mail app and loaded it again. Still noting, it just reverts to the iPad desktop. Switched to the Gmail app which give me access but, seems cumbersome.


Suggestions?
