Plug adapter for MacBook Air used in China

My wife will be taking her MacBook Air to China. Its power cord says "Input 100-240V~ 1A 50-60Hz". I understand that electricity in China is 22V 50Hz. Am I correct in concluding that a plug adapter is sufficient and that a power converter is not needed?

That is correct - you only need an AC prong adapter. China uses 3 different AC prong designs, so it's best to wait to get to your destination, and purchase one locally.
