I want to do non-destructive editing to photos within the Photos for IOS app on my iPhone 6 Plus. Is there a way to duplicate photos on my iphone? I see a copy action but that doesn't seem to do what I want it to do
You can safely edit a photo and save copies after you complete your work. At any point you can also revert the picture back to it's original state. I suggest trying this out with a test photo.
If you still want a second copy to edit I recommend emailing the photo to yourself then saving it to the phone from your email.
