My MacBook Pro ran out of juice while asleep and now I can't boot uptt

my MacBook Pro was asleep and after a few days the juice ran out and the machine turned fully off. Very careless and naughty! Now I can' boot up. It makes its usual start up noises and then there is disc activity which eventually turns off. There is nothing on the screen at all. I then tried powering up and putting the Maxine back into sleep mode. After disc activity ceased I woke up the machine and I went straight into a reset password screen that also allowed me to get back on line with WIFI. I reset to a different password and attempted to reboot. No joy!

as part of getting online to this hep community I was asked to put in a new Apple ID password and this has been successful and I am now logged into the help community.

Can anyone help me with info on how to re-awake my MacBook Pro? Many thanks.
