If you have been using a client email software application, there should be a central

location for them to be stored offline. If you have been using a web browser & login

to see & use the gmail account, then you should still have copies of them if you didn't

delete them after viewing; as they give you some capacity of space to keep stuff, free.

For extra capacity, you can pay a fee to expand the google storage, to save more online.

Which email software do you prefer? If you are using Mail in your OS X, then you should

be able to find the location; see the Help Viewer in the menu bar to help find topic answer.

I don't use an email client software, nor do I download gmail into any of my computers

even though google mail is primary preferred email. One of my browsers is set to default,

to handle gmail and this uses a partially disabled google notifier to launch & handle it.

    Good luck & happy computing!
